Bibimbap

Studying amongst the cold windy streets of Bloomsbury has its perks: close proximity to the gastronomical delight that is Charlotte Street is one. So today I lost my Korean food virginity and ate lunch at Bibimbap. The restaurant has that Asian cafe feel, and we were quickly seated at a table for 3 in the back. The menu is the ideal size: plenty of options for fussy eaters but without a ridiculous amount of choice. I went for the Nutritious bibimbap, as it was full of my favourite things: brown rice (which actually turned out to be red bean rice), ginseng, ginko, dates, chestnuts and vegetables (£8.45) topped with a raw egg (£1.00).

10951103_10205946881530375_1873307289_nIt really was delicious, especially with the squeezy bottles of chilli and miso sauce they offered. I need to return asap and have this again, you leave feeling full but not uncomfortable – the ultimate satisfaction.

Service was quick and friendly.
